Pump It Up!!
Penis pumps were originally developed to help men with erectile dysfunction
achieve and maintain an erection. This is the only medically endorsed use of
penis pumps, and it has been made all but obsolete by Viagra, Levitra, and other
drugs.
Nowadays pumps are used by men recreationally to enhance their erections for sex
or as an accessory for masturbation; by men who use pumping as part of a regimen
that they believe can increase their penis size; and by avid "pumpers" who enjoy
using the temporary effects of pumping to enlarge their organs to extremes. The
latter sometimes belong to pumping clubs and post photos of their results on the
Web for others to view. Keep in mind that pumping as some people practice it can
be dangerous, but if used with common sense and moderation, a penis pump can
provide both pleasure and a temporarily larger tool.
Is it About Sucking?
It is easy to understand the engineering mechanics behind a penis pump.
The principle of pumping is to increase the volume of blood held within the
erected penis through the application of a vacuum pumping. This involves placing
the penis within a cylinder fitted with an airtight seal or gasket at the base
of the penis. Through the use of either a hand or electric pump attached to the
cylinder, the air is then drawn out creating a partial vacuum around the penis.
This vacuum forces a higher volume of blood into the penis than would naturally
occur and results in immediate gains in both length and girth.
The theory goes that if regular pumping is performed over several months i.e.
three to five times a week for between 20 minutes to an hour each session, the
tissue within the penis will adapt over time and will be capable of naturally
accommodating larger volumes of blood. The suspensory ligaments that attach the
penis to the pubic bone will also be encouraged to stretch and lengthen,
resulting in permanent increases in penis size.
There are four basic types of pumps that are readily available.
The Plunger: This works much like a bicycle tire pump. As the
plunger is pulled out and pushed in, air is removed from the cylinder creating
suction. The amount of suction with these type of pumps is usually regulated by
a carburetor hole somewhere toward the top of the penis cylinder. Cover the hole
with a finger to maintain suction inside the tube, uncover the hole to release
the pressure.
The Squeeze Ball: The squeeze ball appears to be the most
common type of pump and the most widely used. A rubber squeeze ball, such as
that used to pump up a blood pressure cuff in the doctor's office, is attached
to an air valve, then to a hose which attaches to the cylinder. With the air
valve closed, the ball is squeezed and air is removed from the cylinder creating
a vacuum. The more times you squeeze, the stronger the suction becomes. To
release the pressure, simply open the air valve. Examples are the the

The Hand/Finger Grip: Considered by many to be the ultimate in
hand pumping, the grip type pump is gaining momentum in popularity. While at the
higher end of the price spectrum, hand grip pumps are said to be far sturdier
and more precise at regulating pressure. Many of this variety even include a
pressure gauge so you know at all times how much suction you are using. Examples

The Electric: Electric pumps are, of course, the most
expensive. But they do offer all the bells and whistles any serious pumper could
want. Aside from fully regulated suction and various settings, they offer a more
or less hands-free pumping experience. Let's face it, if we don't need our hands
for the current task, we can always find something else fun for them to do.
Perhaps because all men are unique unto themselves, there seems to be an avid
number of supporters behind each style of pump. Ultimately, it will be up to you
to decide which one best suits your needs, personality and wallet.
Slowly at First (General instructions of using a pump)
Put a generous amount of water-based
lubricants all around and in the rubber or latex sealing/gasket ring on the
mouth of the cylinder. This will help ensure a tight seal around the penis and
against the body.
-
Also apply some lube all over
your penis as well as this will help with insertion into the tube,
especially if your penis is soft.
-
Push your shaft through the
ring and into the tube until the mouth of the tube is firmly up against your
body.
-
Begin slowly pumping a little
at a time. *Over-pumping can cause some minor to serious problems.*
Read more on safety below.
-
With the seal on the cylinder
tightly against your body, continue pumping until your penis is firmly
erected.
-
Stop for a moment and take a
identify your feelings and observe your penis; Is the pressure comfortable?
Are there any unusual discoloration or veins that looks like it's about to
explode? If all seems well, pump a little more and hold, continue to ask
yourself the same questions each time you stop. If you do feel
uncomfortable at any point, open the air valve and release the pressure. You
can always pump back up again any time you're ready.
*For first-time 'pumpers', we think that you should keep your sessions
down to about 20 minutes. Work your way up to half an hour or an hour
gradually (do we have that much time?). We know you want that length and
power now, but size isn't going to matter at all if you permanently damage
your shaft.*
Will it Hurt?
For many men, the idea of doing anything that might put their favorite organ in
jeopardy is daunting. But there are always those lingering questions: What does
it feel like? Is it gonna hurt? Males hate to admit it, but we are always
curious to hear about ways to pleasure our peniss. Imagine a really good
blow-job where you get to be in control of the sucking and how hard. There is no
reason it should hurt. If you do experience pain, stop pumping immediately and
consult a physician before continuing. Pumping should feel pretty good unless
there is a medical problem of some kind. How
I'm lazy, Does it require much Work?
The men who claim to have significant long-lasting increase in the size of their
tools all seem to agree on one thing: you must get into a regular pumping
routine of at least thirty minutes a day for about six months if you want to see
results. Of course, you also have to keep a regular routine going after that if
you want those results to be permanent. It's really no different than any other
type of regular exercise program.
This would be the time to mention that enlarging the penis works about the same
as other muscle development. You will gain a great deal more in girth than you
will in length. If you've always wanted a chubby, then regular pumping may just
be the thing for you. But if your hoping to change a 5 inch member into a 10
incher, at least you'll have fun trying.
Pleasure pumping
For the less dedicated pump user, penis pumps can be an enjoyable masturbator.
By regulating the suction on and off, you can pump yourself into pleasurable
experience. Maybe this is also the main reason why most men pump. What man
doesn't enjoy having the cum sucked right out of him?
If you're curious about trying a penis pump, the first thing you should do is
find an adult toy catalog to look through. Take note of the different types and
how they operate. Figure out how much you're willing to spend based on your
level of curiosity. The pump could end up gathering dust in the store room with
the TV media products and the on sale cheap DIY furniture that you are too lazy
to go around assembling.
Once you choose a pump, be sure to read and follow all operating and safety
instructions that come with your model. It isn't a "guy thing" to read
directions, but remember this involves the safety of your precious 子孙根.
You don't want to over do it your first time. Just take it slow and do only what
feels good. Check out some of the available
pumps on our e-catalog. You know you're dying to try it.
Safety Concerns (important! Please read)
It is moderately safe to pump your penis if performed correctly instead of
vigourously. Anxious men may experience problems with their shafts when the
penis is over pumped in an attempt to increase size as quickly as possible.
Men who pump too frequently, for extended periods of time or apply more vacuum
pressure than they are adapted to, run the risk of rupturing capillaries and
blood vessels. The results : large bruises appearing on the penile shaft or
red spots developing on the head of the penis; both of which can take quite a
while to fully heal. Potentially, excessive pumping and pressure can lead to
severe internal haemorrhaging.
More frequent and far less serious symptoms of over pumping include water
blisters and minor discoloration to the skin. Another common indicator of over
pumping is a general decline in erection frequency and rigidity. Experienced
pump users say that they have much firmer, more frequent and longer lasting
erections than men who don't pump. However, over pumping commonly results in
fewer erections that are far softer than normal and difficult to maintain for
any length of time.
Avoiding Injury:
In practice however, over pumping the penis can be easily avoided if a few
simple precautions are followed and general care is taken. Most importantly,
it's essential to keep a careful eye on the level of vacuum used and to avoid
pumping for excessive periods of time.
Initially, only low levels of pressure should be applied and the effects closely
monitored. The penis should only ever be pumped to a comfortable level and if at
any time pain or discomfort is experienced, pressure should be reduced
immediately.
Should bruising or blisters develop on either the shaft or head of the penis, a
clear indication that too much pressure has been applied, the session should be
terminated.
These minor injuries must be allowed to fully heal before pumping is resumed to
prevent recurring problems and more serious injuries from developing. In order
to avoid problems resulting from prolonged restricted blood circulation, it is
also advisable to break a pumping session into several shorter sets of around
ten to fifteen minutes each. A clear sign that you have pumped too long without
a break is a general darkening of the penile skin.
During a pumping exercise, it is also important to increase vacuum pressure
slowly and gradually. Applying too much force too quickly will also cause
bruising and may result in more serious injury. As the penile tissue gradually
expands throughout the session, the penis will be able to accommodate increased
volumes of blood and more pressure can be steadily applied.
Again, any discomfort or pain is a sign that the pressure has been increased too
rapidly and should therefore, be reduced immediately. Finally, it is also
important to give the penis time to fully recover between sessions. Many men
suggest that optimum results are achieved by performing three to four sessions
per week. As with any type of exercise, over training will increase
susceptibility to injury and will inhibit progress.
